This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) relates to the Queue website, available at (the “Website”) and the mobile application, available for download from the App store (the Website, together with the mobile application will be referred to in this Privacy Policy as the “App”).  The App is owned and operated by Queue App Inc. (dba as “Queue” and referred to in this Privacy Policy as “we”, “us”, “our”). We are a corporation recognized under the laws of Ontario.  The term “you” or “your” in these Terms of Service means you as an individual.

Queue App Inc. grants the rights to access content on but does not grant any rights to reproduce, copy, or replicate content or images unless specifically stated. Users may link to articles and information contained on but this does not constitute any grant of rights otherwise. uses first and third-party cookies and Google Analytics tools to gather information about user behaviour and demographics and interests on this website. By accessing, users grant Queue App Inc. access to cookie information, including but not limited to their cookie information generated at as well as other websites as utilized by Google Analytics tools. Users that leave comments and use social media tools on also grant Queue App Inc. access to information including but not limited to their email address, their name, their location, and their social media profile interactions, such as likes and tweets.

We understand the importance of your privacy and the confidentially of the information you provide to us.  As such, we are committed to protecting your privacy online.  Here we explain how your information is collected and stored, what we do with your information, and what controls you have.

Description of Service

The App is a crowd sourcing mobile application that allows users to submit and view real-time information of Nightclub venues. The information includes but is not limited to line wait, gender ratio, crowd density, cover charge and music type.

How We Collect Your Information

When you first register to use the App, you will be prompted to provide some personally identifiable information, including, but not limited to, your name and password.  If you decide to connect your App user account with one of your social networking sites, some of the information will be automatically collected.

When you use the Website our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website (“Log Data”).  This Log Data may include information such as your IP address, browser type or the domain from which you are visiting, the web-pages you visit, the search terms you use, and any advertisements on which you click.  For most users accessing the Internet from an Internet service provider the IP address will be different every time you log on.  We use Log Data to monitor the use of the Website, and for the Website’s technical administration. We do not associate your IP address with any other personal information to identify you personally, except in case of violation of this Privacy Policy, the application’s end user license agreement, available at (the “EULA”), or the terms of service, available at (the “Terms of Service”).

We use “cookie” technology to collect additional Website usage data and to improve the Website.  A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your computer’s hard disk.  We do not use cookies to collect personal information.  We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies to better understand how you interact with the Website, to monitor aggregate usage by our users and web traffic routing on the Website, and to improve the Website.  A session cookie enables certain features of the Website and is deleted from your computer when you disconnect from or leave the Website.  A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be used by your browser on subsequent uses of the Website.  Persistent cookies can be removed by following your web browser help file directions.  Most Internet browsers automatically accept cookies.  You can instruct your browser, by editing its options, to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit.

Any content you submit to us through the App, such as whenever you check-in to submit a wait time, will be stored in our server.  We will also automatically receive and store non-personally identifiable information such as your UDID, device type, browser type, OS type, geographical information, timestamps, and other related information.  Your information is saved to a user ID that is encrypted to us so we will not be able to identify exactly which device you are using.

How We Use Your Information

Most of the personally identifiable information we receive from you is needed to set up your account and verify your identity.  The non-personally identifiable information we collect and save from you is used for internal and external analytical purposes.  Your check-in submissions are also stored and we use the check-in data in our algorithms to push real-time information to other users.  When we generate analytical reports, your identity and personally identifiable information will be kept anonymous.

We might also send you emails and pushed notifications from time to time through the App with information that we feel is relevant and useful, including information about any updates or revisions to this Privacy Policy.

We will not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies without your consent or unless we have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation, or disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy any law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, (b) enforce any applicable terms or conditions of this Privacy Policy, the EULA, or the Terms of Service (including investigation of potential violations thereof), or (c) detect, prevent or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues.

What You Can Do

You can update and change your personal profile information, emails, and notification settings by accessing the profile page in the App.  While it is not mandatory to provide certain information, we would recommend you to provide as much as you can to fully take advantage of the App and features related to the service.


The security of your personally identifiable information is important to us. We follow generally accepted standards to protect the personally identifiable information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.  No method of wireless transmission, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Third Party Links

The App may include links to other applications or sites. This Privacy Policy applies to the App only.  Any information you submit to linked sites or other applications will be subject to the privacy policies of those sites or applications, if any.  You should review those policies carefully before providing any information to these other linked sites or applications.

Business Transfers

If Queue or substantially all of its assets are acquired, or in the unlikely event that Queue goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party.  You will have the opportunity to opt out of any such transfer if the new entity’s planned processing of your information differs materially from that set forth in this Privacy Policy.

App Updates

We might release updated versions of the App and this might automatically be applied to your device given your settings. As such, you consent to such automatic updates. In addition, we might change, expand, or selectively cease part or all of certain features of the App without any notification.
